Anyone with any experience of Home Assistant? I'm looking to monitor the output of my solar panels so I cant make full use of the free electricity am generating that's being absorbed by the grid...

However this will not measure the output from my panels it will however tell me how much I'm pulling in from the grid. Initially I should be able to turn on my emersion to heat the water when this sensor is 0 and its daytime. This would get me started... eventually I want to build a CT clamp sensor setup which should tell me the amount and directional flow of energy through the cables feeding my house from my meter, i could also then do this for the battery and the supply from the panels and build a full picture of exactly how I'm using my solar and storage...
The reason :- basically I think I've been sold a system and its not doing what they report it is.. I don't have access to the API on the battery and the inverter, even though I own them.. which is frustrating.. however this is my shortest path i think to being able to accurately measure my power usage, my ultimate plan would be to have electric heaters in various rooms all under control of home assistant, with the idea of trying to reduce my Gas usage down to near 0...
